FIST SIZED CHUNKS

- 1990-

Released on vinyl and CD spring 1990, the CD has one extra song. This "difficult" third album, was recorded spring and summer of 1989. The band was on the verge of breakup, and had just completed a horrible tour, but managed to pull it together in the studio. While working on Helios Creed's The Last Laugh album (With Daniel on bass and Jason Finn on drums), the band asked Helios if he would play some guitar on "Gentle Collapse" and he agreed. Ben and Scott had been jamming with Tommy from the Acc├╝sed so the band got Tommy to add some big chug-chug rhythm guitar to Slow Runner (That summer they started practicing as Gruntruck). The last songs that Skin Yard recorded with Scott on drums were No Control and the then future Sub Pop single "Start at the Top" b/w "Watch". The band broke up for a year, but since the album and single came out in the interim, nobody really noticed.
